J.S. Feikema
Jake Feikema of Duluth, Minn., a former Hawarden resident, passed away Thursday, July 14 after suffering a heart attack early Wednesday evening. The funeral services were held Monday, July 18.
Mr. Feikema was employed in the Tire and Texaco gas station about 40 years ago.
Survivors include his widow; two sons, Robert of Bloomington, Minn. and James of Duluth, Minn.; three daughters, Lucette of White Bear Lake, Linda of Warsaw, Wisc. and Margaret of Palos Verdes, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Wm Obbink of Sioux Center and Mrs. Sue Kayser of Omaha, Nebr.
Those attending the funeral were Mrs. Florence Feikema and daughter, Eleanor, of Sioux City, Mrs. Sue Kayser and Mrs. Wm Obbink.
