Travis Dale Tiedeman, 24, of Boyden died Monday, July 14, at the Sioux Center Community Hospital.

Funeral service was Friday at 10:30 A. M. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, rural Hull, with the Rev. John M. Riggle officiating. Interment was at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
Tiedeman was born June 10, 1979, in Sioux Falls, the son of Kenneth Dale and Carol Faye (Van Beek) Tiedeman. He was raised at Hull, where he graduated from the Boyden-Hull High School. In December of 2001, he moved to Boyden. He was employed as a concrete foreman at Triple V Construction.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was baptized on June 11, 1079, in Sioux Falls, and he was confirmed on May 15, 1994, at St. Paul Church. He had been active in the church’s youth group.

He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his fiancée Amber, and nephews and nieces. He liked doing anything in the great outdoors, including fishing, hunting, golfing, camping, boating and helping on the farm.

Survivors include his parents, Ken and Carol Tiedeman of Hull; three sisters and their husbands, Michaelle and Greg Rens of Hull, Tamara and Chad Smith of Des Moines and Sharla and Chadley Crull of Brandon, South Dakota; six nephews and nieces; his fiancée, Amber Revert, and her parents, Curt and Barb Reverts, and her brother, Aaron Reverts, all of Hartley; grandmother, Pearl Van Beek of Rock Rapids; and many other relatives and friends.
