Last Rites For Mrs. Frank Fritz Held at Ireton

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Fritz, 74, long time resident in the Ireton vicinity who died at a hospital in Le Mars Friday, were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in St. Paul's Lutheran church at Ireton. Rev. Paul Friedrich officiated with burial at Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Casket bearers included James McNally, Lloyd Liston, Donald Johnson, Marion Ten Napel, Gerrit Barents and Curtis Richardson.

Lena Geuder was born January 5, 1884, at Guttenberg, Ia. On November 28, 1912, she married Frank Fritz at Ireton and the couple farmed ail their married life on the same place southwest of Ireton. Mr. Fritz died on June 20, 1955.

Mrs. Fritz was a member of the Lutheran church and active in the Ladies Aid.

Survivors include two sons, Harold and Robert, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Vander Hamm of Ireton, Mrs. Martha Hennrich of Sioux City, Mrs. Ray Lambert of Cincinnati, 0hio, and Miss Margaret Geuder of Lancaster, 0hio, and three brothers, Ben and William Geuder of Guttenberg, Ia., and Henry Geuder of Elkader, Ia.

Poster's note: According to the 1925 Iowa census, Helena Geuder was the daughter of Sophia (Lundt) and Leonard Geuder.
