Jacoba Vanden Brink, 71, of Hospers died Tuesday, May 10, in a Sioux City Hospital.

Graveside services were at 10am Friday, May 13, at Christian Reformed Church in Hospers. The Rev. J. Mark Beach and the Rev. Brian Janssen officiated.

Born Jacoba Vander Spoel August 10, 1916, in Rock Rapids, she married Arthur Vanden Brink March 17, 1937, at Hull. He died November 23, 1967.

She was a member of Christian Reformed Church in Hospers.

Survivors include three sons, Marvan of Boyden and Arlyn and Theodore both of Hospers; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four sisters, Magdalene Vander Spoel, Cecilia De Stigter and Emma Vanden Berg, all of Sioux Center and Gertrude Van't Hul of Edgerton, Minnesota; and a brother, Arnold Vander Spoel of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
