Services held for Mrs. Andrew Docter

Mrs. Andrew Doctor passed away on March 12 at the Orange City Municipal Hospital. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 15, 1971 at the First Christian Reformed Church with the Rev. G. Vander Berg from Hospers officiating.

Mrs. Docter, the former Jeanette Reinsma was born January 11, 1905 at Orange City. She was united in marriage to Andrew Docter on January 17, 1926 at Orange City.

Survivors include the widower; one daughter, Mrs. Alvin Jelgerhuis of Orange City; four grandchildren; five sisters, Sophia, Mrs. John Krykes, Mrs. Stanley Duven, and Mrs. Ralph Bouma, all of Orange City, and Mrs. I. Woudstra of Hospers; three brothers, Rev. William Reinsma of Grand Rapids; Jerry of Orange City and John of West Gayville, New York.

Pallbearers were Gerald Bouma, Irwin Woudstra, Peter J. Van Driel, Lloyd Woudstra, Peter L. Vander Zwaag and Harlan Hofmeyer. Special music was provided by Bernard Wobbema.

Interment was at Westlawn Cemetery in Orange City, arrangements by VanEtten Funeral Home.
