Hattie Berghorst.

Hattie Berghorst, 94, of Hull died Thursday, December 20, at the Sioux Center Community Hospital. Funeral service was Monday at 10:30 a.m. at First Christian Reformed Church in
Hull with the Rev. Paul Hansen officiating. Interment was at the Hope Cemetery in Hull.

Mrs. Berghorst was born January 31, 1913, at Hull, the daughter of Henry and Kate (Vis) Leusink. She was raised at Hull. On January 10, 1961, she married Ed Berghorst in Hull, He died February 5, 1961, in Hull, In October of 2000, she became a resident of the Pleasant Acres Care Center in Hull. She lived most of her life in the Hull and Sioux Center areas. .............. etc.

Survivors include three daughters, Anna Vander Well of Grass Valley, California, and Audrey and her husband Le Roy Jongetjes and Arlene and her husband Orville Vant Hul, all of Hull; son-in-law, Jack Kleinwolterink of Sheldon; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 13 great-greatgrandchildren; a sister, Jeanette Leusink, and a sister-in-law, Genevieve Leusink, both of Sioux Center.

She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Alyna Kleinwolterink and Anita Berghorst; a son-in-law, Loren Vander Well; two grandchildren; and nine brothers and sisters, Henrietta and her husband John Driesen, Pete Leusink and his wife Anna, Grace and her husband Ray De Weerd, Gerrit John Leusink, William Leusink and his wife Tena, Gertie, and her husband Abe Beukelman, Catherine and her husbands Bill Beukelman, and Steven Vos. Gerrit Henry Leusink and his wife Gertrude, and Johnnie Leusink in infancy. Memorials may be directed to Hope Haven.
