Hold Last Rites for Former Local Resident in Sheldon.

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Kleinwolterink, a former Rock Valley resident, 25 years ago, who passed away at Community Memorial hospital, Sheldon, Friday, July 11 at 1:05 p. m., were held in Sheldon last week Monday.

Mrs. Kleinwolterink passed away after a long, lingering illness, and had been taken to the hospital only a day before she passed away. The last rites were held at the Kleinwolterink home in Sheldon and at the Christian Reformed church there, with Rev. John Griffioen, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment was in the East Lawn cemetery in Sheldon.

Mrs. Kleinwolterink, nee Marie Lems, was born April 30, 1901, at Middleburg, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bastian Lems. March 18, 1927, she was married in Rock Valley. Following their marriage they lived on a farm southwest of Sheldon for 16 years, then moved to a farm northwest of Sheldon, where she spent the remainder of her life.

Pallbearers were C. Koole, Joe Hengeveld, D. L. Jinkinson, Conrad Bolt, William Den Beste and Ralph Eikes.

Four children were born to the Kleinwolterinks, Edwin, Lorna, Myron and Henry, Jr., all living at home in Sheldon, who with the widower survive. She also leaves four brothers and four sisters: Paul Lems of Beloit, Iowa; Mrs. L. T. VanDenBosch, Claus Gerrit, Mrs. Andrew Van Kekerix and Bas Lems, all of Rock Valley; Mrs. Bert Faber of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and Mrs. Ted J. Feekes of Sioux Center.
