DEATHS - MRS. GERRIT J. RENS, 55.

Mrs. Gerrit J. Rens, nee Winnie Kleinwolterink, passed away early Monday evening at the age of 55 years and 10 months. Mrs. Rens suffered a stroke about four years ago and in May of this year she had a second stroke from which she never fully recovered.

Mrs. Rens was united in marriage to Gerrit J. Rens on November 28, 1918 at Sioux Center. To this union two daughters were born, Hermina, Mrs. Tony Heynen and Johanna Dorothy, Mrs. Fred Herweyer, both of Sioux Center.

Besides her husband and two daughters she leaves to mourn four grandchildren and two sisters, Minnie, Mrs. P. E. De Vries of Sioux Center, Dena, Mrs. George Bonnema of Steen, Minn, and one brother, Henry Kleinwolterink of Orange City. Her parents and one sister, Hattie preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Thursday, Sept 24, at 1:00 at the home and 1:30 at the Second Christian Reformed church with Rev. P. A. De Jong officiating. Burial will be in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.

The pall bearers will be Peter Kleinwolterink, John Kleinwolterink, Jake Vander Griend, John Bonnema, William Rens and John Rens.
