BOYDEN. Mrs. Henry Van Nyhuis.

Mrs. Henry Van Nyhuis, nee Dena Rensink, 78, died November 16, 1959, at Mercy Hospital in Oelwein, due to complications and injuries received in a car accident ten days ago. Mrs. Van Nyhuis was born in the Netherlands in Holland, and moved to Sioux county with her family at the age of 8 years and spent her entire life in the Sheldon and Boyden community. March 1, 1901, she was married to Henry Van Nyhuis of Boyden.

To this union three daughters and one son were born, Nelle (Mrs. Tom Reuvers) and Josie (Mrs. Tony Noordhoek) of Sheldon, Henrietta (Mrs. Peter Ten Kley) of Holland, Mich., and Henry Van Nyhuis Jr. of Slayton, Minn. Other survivors are 15 grand-children, 15 great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. R. Kamminga of Boyden, two brothers
Joe Rensink of Ashton, la. and Gerrit Rensink of Long Beach, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband July 20, 1955, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard H. Rensink.

The deceased was an active member of the First Reformed Church and Ladies Aid Society and had been a Sunday school teacher some years ago. Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. at the home in Boyden, and 1:30 p.m. at the First Reformed church with Rev. Henry G. Schoon officiating. Burial was in Boyden cemete-ry. Pallbearers were six nephews, Lawrence Rensink, Amos Roetman, John Van Nyhuis, John Romberg, Arie Van Nyhuis and Peter L. Moret.
