Rock Valley Bee of April 7, 1899

Michael Linnan father of Mrs. James Fitzpatrick, with whom he had been residing, died Tuesday. He had reached the advanced age of ninety years. The funeral was held from St. Mary's church Thursday morning.

(According to an ancestry.com account, Michael Linnane was born 1813 Ireland, died 1899 at Rock Valley, IA. A daughter Mary Ellen was born 1852-1933, who was the wife of James Fitzpatrick.)
