John E. Orr, a former resident of this county, died at Spokane, Wash., last Friday, about.75 years of age. He was born and raised near Onslow, Jones Co. and was there engaged in the law practice until 1907, when he located at Spokane, Wash. For a number of years be and Anthony TePaske were associates as law partners, under the firm name Orr & TePaske.

Mr. Orr retaining his Orange City residence while Mr. TePaske had his residence here.
Mr. Orr while at Orange City married Miss Mary Goddard, who. For many years was deputy clerk of court of this county. They have one son,. John, Mr. Orr for some time was mayor of Orange City and was also the referee in bankruptcy for Sioux County. He was a man of integrity and ability, and held various positions of trust in Spokane. He had an exhaustless fund of stories and antedotes, and was a favorite as a visitor.
