Pauline Ann DeBruin
(March 23, 1932 - August 7, 2012)

Pauline (Pember) DeBruin, 80, passed away in her home in Brighton, CO on August 7,2012. She was born in Rock Valley, Iowa on March 23, 1932 to Paul and Ann Pember.

Memorial Service , August 14, 2012: Brighteon United Methodist Church.

Her remaining siblings include Ms. Virginia Ahrendt of Sacramento, CA, Mr. Hale Pember of Rock Valley, IA and Mrs. Roger (Mavis) Campbell of Rock Valley, IA.

She married her high school sweetheart, Delmer DeBruin, on October 30, 1951 and had two daughters, Paula and Cheryl. She became active in the Pioneer United Methodist Church and worked as a secretary in the local elementary school for 30 years. Pauline and Delmer lived most of their life in Rock Valley. After Delmer’s death on December 18, 2003, she moved to Brighton, CO to be with her daughters and their families in July 2005.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Paula; five grandchildren, Jamison, Nichelle, Jeremiah, Kayla and Jesse and four great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Miah, Kai and Ethan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her daughter, Cheryl and her sister, Betty O’Connell.
