The widow P. Dielemans died Sunday. She was about 74 years of age. With her we lose again one of the earliest settlers in the colony. The funeral was Tuesday afternoon at the First Reformed Church with the service led by Rev. Buursma. De Volksvriend, dated June 6, 1889, p. 3, col 3 in Plaatselijk Nieuws. [Translated by J. Smith] Note: She and her husband, Pieter, were 1870 Sioux County pioneers. She was b. 12 Oct 1815 in Axel, Zeeland, Netherlands daughter of Meeuwis de Bruijne and Maria de Visser.
