Mrs. John Kenowith
Mrs. John Kenowith, 87, of Ireton died Sunday, April 24, 1983 in a nursing home in LeMars. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 1983 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton. The Rev. Paul Sieveking will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of the
Mrs. Kenowith, the former Anna E. Jahde, was born Sept. 13,1895, in rural Hawarden and was a lifelong Ireton resident.
She married John Kenowith Feb. 25, 1919, at rural Sioux Center. He died Feb. 16, 1959.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one son, Wayne of rural LeMars; one daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Lila) Rohlfs of Hawarden; one sister, Elsie of Hawarden; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
