Will Hoogschagen received the sad news of the death of his brother John at Denver Colorado Saturday.
(The family is noted on ancestry.com The father, Pieter Hoogschagen born 1834 Neth died 1909 Orange City IA, the mother was Catherine Breed 1829-1876. Children in the family were - Klaas 1859, Willem 1860-1860, Elizabeth 1861-1863, Jan 'John' 1863-1902, Pieter 1865-1869, Willem 1866-1932 and Trijntje 1869-1899.)
