Mrs. Laurence Lehrman, 74, of Sioux Center, died Saturday, November 21, in a Sioux City hospital of brief illness.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. John's Lutheran Church at Reading Township, rural Ireton. The Rev. Michael Klafehem officiated. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. There was a prayer service at 8 p.m. Monday in the Mauer Funeral Home in LeMars.
Mrs. Lehrman, the former Cora Riepma, was born May 15, 1907, at Maurice. She was a lifelong resident of Sioux County.
She was married Dec. 10, 1931, at Ireton. The couple farmed in Sherman Township, he died in May of 1971 and she moved to Sioux Center in the fall of 1980.
Survivors include three sons, Robert and Donald, both of Orange City and Marvin of Maurice; two daughters, Mrs. Lavelle (Mary Lou) De Vries of Cushing and Mrs. Richard (Madonna) Harrington of Salix; seven grandchildren; one brother, Bert of Sjoux City; and one sister, Mrs. John (Gertrude) Addink of Sioux Center.
