Mrs. H. J. (Hendrik) Beltman residing west of Alton died Tuesday after an illness of several months with an internal tumor. She was born in Holland about sixty years ago and had lived in this vicinity about twenty-five years. She leaves a husband and two children—a son John and daughter Mrs. William Guerink to mourn her loss. She was a member
of the Alton Reformed church, of which her husband was a deacon, and the funeral' was held there from on Thursday. A large concourse of friends followed the remains to their last resting place in the Alton cemetery.
