Little Dorothy Ellen Balkema, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Balkema, died of pneumonia last week Thursday. She was but two years old. Interment was made on Monday in the local cemetery. Rev. A. Haverkamp conducted the funeral services. The little girl had attacks of measles and whooping cough and when the pneumonia came she was not strong enough to withstand the sickness.
