Mrs. Isaac Noteboom died at her home in this city Tuesday morning at two o'clock after four months of suffering with a nervous affection. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Moret and was forty-three years and six months old at death.
Deceased leaves an aged mother who within the past thirteen mouths has been called upon to mourn a husband (her father died 1901 and her husband died in 1913) and a son as well. Mrs. Noteboom was the mother of eleven children, nine of whom with their father survive her. One daughter is married to John Muilenburg and three others have arrived at their majority. The rest are children at home. Deceased had lived at Alton for near a dozen years, was a member of the Dutch reformed church and had many friends. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Lepejtak were held at the church Thursday at 1:30. John Moret and wife of Minnesota attended.

She married Isaac Noteboom 2 August 1875 at Orange City IA. He died 24 Oct 1913 at Canistota McCook SD. Chidren were – Mary 1876, Sophina 1878, Peter 1879, Alice 1884, John 1886, Nellie 1889, Mike 1892, Magdalene 1894, Isaac 1898 and Gerrit 1899. )
