A little daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. J. H. De Jong last Friday evening, but lived only about twelve hours. THE HERALD sympathizes
with the young parents.
(The parents of this baby were John Henry DeJong born Jan 1872 son of Hendrik DeJong and Judith Schippers. He married Mintie Jelsma born Apr 1876 of Pella Oct 1898.
