A little girl of Ed. C. Brown, residing two miles northwest of town, died Friday evening from diabetes, from which, disease she had been for a long time a sufferer and was buried Sunday.

Death of Mabel E. Brown.
The bright and intelligent 13 years old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward S. Brown passed from this world of trouble and care to new bright and celestial home above Feb. 1 after a lingering illness of eight months form the dread disease diabetes. Mabel was an unusually bright and interesting giel just budding into womanhood with bright prospect for the future. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. w. a. Richards Sunday afternoon Feb. 3rd, and the remains laid to rest in the Rock Valley cemetery. Thi sis the fourth child the afflicted parents have been called upon to part with and they have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.

There was an Edward C. and an Edward S. Brown in the area. Then I found an Edward W. on line that had possible connections and then ended up in Hudson SD.)
