Translation:
Mrs. J. Visser is no more. For several months she had been an invalid. Last winter, shortly before they came to town from the farm, she had a stroke, from which she never fully recovered, so they are unable to enjoy the quiet life in the city, as they had anticipated before she was hit. The attack was repeated once more in mild degree last summer and now Monday for the third time she suffered a stroke, this time with deadly consequences. Yesterday morning [Tuesday, February 4] at seven o'clock she exhaled the last breath. The remains will be brought to the grave Friday afternoon from the Christian Reformed church. The service starts at one o'clock at the house of mourning and at half past two in the church.
Six children, besides her husband and her old, over 80-year old father remain behind to mourn her passing. Our sympathy with the mourners.

An apoplectic stroke suddenly carried away Mrs. John Visser in the east part of town last Tuesday morning. She had been in frail health for over a year. She leaves a husband and six children three of whom are still at home. The funeral services took place last Friday from the Christian Reformed church of the place of which she was a consistent member.

The Sioux County Cemetery Index has Anna (Roos) Visser, born 22 December 1859, died 4 February 1908, buried in Memory Gardens, Sioux Center.
There appears to be some confusion with John Visser, his wives' names and what children belonged to who, and/or among two generations of Vissers. See also the obituaries for John Visser (1863-1926), his son Thomas Visser (1914-1965), and Mrs. John Visser (1874-1960).
