Fred Brouwer of Orange City, who is well known here and at Alcester, died Saturday following a heart attack.

The Brouwer family a number of years ago lived on a farm in Big Springs and at one time he operated a cream station at Alcester.

Mr. Brouwer took an active part in musical circles in Big Springs and Alcester when he resided there.

Survivors are the widow and four children.
