Word reached Ireton Tuesday morning of the death of LaVon Dannenbring, the 4 year old daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Elmer Dannenbring, which occurred that morning in a hospital in Sioux Falls following an operation for appendicities which was performed Monday. The news of her death came as a distinct surprise to Ireton relatives and friends as no one here had been apprised of her illness. She visited here with her mother and sister only about two weeks ago and at that time appeared to be in the very best of health. LaVon moved with her parents from Ireton to Montrose, SD, last summer. She was a bright, lovable child and her sudden death is a severe blow to her parents and other relatives who have the sincere sympathy of all in their loss. The funeral was held at Alcester this afternoon.
