Hawarden Independent, March 11, 1976

Ben Conway, 79, passed away Feb. 28 at Fullerton, Calif. following a long illness. He married Eva O'Meara, Nov. 29, 1925.

Survivors are his wife, Eva, two sons, James of Fullerton, Calif., and Bruce of Houston, Texas, 11 grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Durette Ney of Hawarden, IA.

Mr. Conway's funeral and burial was held in Fullerton. He was employed for many years at Cape Canaveral, Florida moving to Calif. in 1970. He also was a World War I veteran.
