Funeral services were held Thursday, August 11, for Theodore Broline, 85, of Alcester, a pioneer resident of Union County.

He was born in Sweden, April 2, 1864, coming to America with his parents at 17. He worked on farms and later farmed for himself.

On April 29, 1890, he married Hanah Lindgren of Big Springs. To this union were born four children.

Survivors are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Charles O. Larson of Alcester, and three sons, Edgar, Harry and David of Alcester.
