Mrs. Alvin (Ivadel) Karr, 77, of Ireton, died July 30 at Fort Dodge of a long illness.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., July 31, at the Dow Funeral Home in Ireton. Dr. Everett Staats officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Karr was born Sept. 3, 1898. She was married Feb. 12, 1928 in Algona. The couple farmed in the Ireton area. Mr. Karr died in March of 1969.

Survivors include two sons, Robert of Chicago and Richard of San Francisco; a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Kathryn) Duckett of Minneapolis; a sister, Mrs. Andrew (Agatha) Hanson of Algona; and three grandchildren.
