Mrs. A. Montee who has been very ill with pnrumonia for several weeks died at her home here on Saturday afternoon. She was seventy-four years of age and had resided in Hudson and vicinity for many years, she and her husband being early settlers who endured all the trials of early pioneer days in this section of the west. She leaves a husband, a son, several daughters and many other relatives to mourn her loss. Her remains were laid to rest in the cemetery on Monday. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved ones left behind.

Married 5 Oct 1846 Bennington VT. Children - Melvin, clarissa, Moses, Clarinda, Thiza, Matthew, Mary, Nellie, Austen, Florence, and Margaret.)
