Final Rites Held For W. D. Ashley, 68(actually abt 83yrs) , At Ireton
Ireton, la.. Funeral services held here Saturday for William Dudley Ashley, 68, a-former resident who died Thursday afternoon. Mr. Ashley was born :in 1880 (actually abt 1865) in Wisconsin and lived in Ireton for many -years. His retired several years ago. Surviving is an only son, Theodore Ashley.

He was five in the 1870 census and 15yrs in the 1880 census, He was in Hartington NE in the 1920 census at 55 yrs, He was in Sioux county in 1925 IA census. He married Daisy Belle Frasier 1870 in Grant Co. WI. He was the son of Daniel B. Ashley and Pauline McCloud. See his wife’s obit for more family details.)
