Funeral services were held Saturday, November 21. at the Christian Reformed Church of Doon for Mrs. Dick Vink 62 of Rock Valley , who died at her home early Thursday morning unexpectedly. Burial was made in the Orange City cemetery with the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center in charge of arragements.
Mrs. Vink (nee Etta Jacobsma) was born March 30, 1897 at Oange City, Iowa. She married Dick Vink on November 1, 1913 and to this union were born two sons.
Survivors include one son, Dale Edwin of Doon, two brothers Aben and Henry, both of Sanborn, two sisters, Mrs Henry Van Oort of Doon and Mrs. Joe Geverink of Detroit
A brother Morton Jacobsma and one son, Henry, preceded her in death
