Herbert Henry Services Today

Funeral services for Herbert V. Henry, 58, who died Monday following a heart attack, will be held at 1:30 this (Thursday) after noon at the Crazier Funeral Home and at the Methodist church at 2 o'clock with Rev. B, Roy Brown officiating. Members of the Two Oakes American Legion post will conduct military rites at the graveside in Grace Hill cemetery.

Mr. Henry was assisting with corn picking at the Martin Hamersma farm and was working on top of a pilr of corn as the grain was being elevated when he suffered the heart attack.

He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Methodist church in Hawarden. He was born April 1, 1894, in Loneboro, Maryland, coming to this vicinity with his parents as a young man. He spent most of his life farming. He married Miss Myrtle Marshall ac Sioux Falls December 23, 1937.

Survivors are the widow Myrtle; a son Glen of Gardena, Calif, a daughter Janice, at home; three brothers, Frank, Lawrence and Charlie, two sisters, Mrs. Chester Marshall of Hawarden and Mrs. Carrie Shoop of Elk Point, and three grandchildren.
