William Henderson
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, 2 p.m. at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Rock Valley for William Henderson, 78, who died Wednesday night at his home in Rock Valley.
Rev. M. Nelson officiated at the services. Burial was made in Valley View Cemetery. Pall bearers were Delco Steck, Neil Bogaard, Arthur Vande Weerd, James Van Berkum, Gerrit Brandts and Herman Vande Weerd.
Mr. Henderson was born September 9, 1877, at Calmar, IA He had been a mason in Rock Valley for about 62 years, and had lived in Hull for one year.
He is survived by two sons, Olin and Frank of Rock Valley; five granchildren 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.

(William's wife's maiden name has been noted to be spelled many ways Zina, Zena, Sena, Tygers, Tygen, Tazen. Her name was not mentioned in William's obit however was listed in Olin obit, in her own obit Mrs. William Henderson and in the 1925 census as mother of Frank Henderson.)
