After blessing our lives for 24 years, Tina Marie Heilman was called home to be with her beloved Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 11, 2012, in Deadwood, SD.There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, February 15, at 3:00pm at the Calvary Christian Reformed Church in Orange City, IA. Interment will be prior to the service at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Pipestone, Mn. There will be a prayer service on Wednesday, at 11:00am, at the Pipestone Christian Reformed Church.
Visitation will be after 3:00pm on Tuesday, with the family present from 4:00pm to 5:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Calvary Christian Reformed Church. Arrangements are with the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.
Tina was born March 14, 1987, in Grand Rapids, MI, to David and Lori (Gorter) Heilman.
At age six, Tina and her parents moved to Inwood, IA, where her father was called to pastor Inwood Christian Reformed Church. Tina attended Inwood Christian School from 1st to 8th grade. In her freshman year, Tina and her family moved to Orange City, where her father serves as pastor of Calvary Christian Reformed Church. Tina graduated from Unity Christian High School in Orange City and attended Dordt College in Sioux Center, IA, graduating with her BSN.
Tina worked at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, IA, for two years and was currently working for Sanford Cardiovascular Institute in Sioux Falls, SD. She thrived on the daily challenges she found there and loved her co-workers dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was a blessing to her brother, Ross, and sister, Sara. Also left to cherish her memory are her two grandmothers, Mrs. Helen Heilman, of Jenison, MI, and Mrs. Helen Gorter, of Pipestone, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many friends, including her special friend, Jason Dole.
She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Mr. Gerald Heilman and Mr. Lawrence Gorter.
