10-19-1988 - Henry F. De Kruyf, 74, of Sioux Center died Tuesday, October 11, in a Sioux City Hospital.

Services were at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 13, at Bethel Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley.

10-26-1988 - Henry De Kruyf, 74, died Tuesday, October 11. Funeral services were Thursday, October 13, at 1:30 p.m., at Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center with the Rev. Cornelius Venema officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley.

De Kruyf was born April 21, 1914 in Bochem, Germany. He lived his youth in Sioux County and in Grand Rapids, MI. He married Nellie Vande Vegte, March 25, 1937 in Rock Valley. After their marriage they moved to Artesia, CA, and lived in Sioux Center the past 10 years.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Rodney and Verlyn (Sam), both of Corona, CA; two brothers, John of Norwalk, CA, and Leonard of Sioux Center; three sisters, Nellie Hollander of Lynden, WA; Betty Leeuw of Artesia, CA, and Clara Eisma of Ireton; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
