SIOUX CENTER, Iowa - Viola M. " V i " Mulder, 61, of Sioux" Center died Saturday, April 22, 2000, at her residence.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at First Reformed Church in Sioux Center, with the Rev. Greg Alderman officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center.
Mrs. Mulder was born Jan. 11, 1939, in Rock Valley, Iowa, the daughter of Henry R. and Alyda
(Harskamp) Vande Vegte. She married Arlyn Mulder on Oct. 16,1957, in Middleburg, Iowa.
She was employed with Economy Shop, which was owned by her mother.
She was a member of First Reformed Church and volunteered in the nursing wing at Sioux Center Community Health Care Center. She enjoyed her costume shop, camping, bowling and crafts.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter and her husband, Sindy and Lyle Bonestroo of Hull, Iowa; two sons and their wives, Bruce and Ingrid and Darlo and Laura, all of Sioux Center; eight grandchildren; her mother, of Sioux Center; three brothers and their wives, Arnie and Donna Vande Vegte of Rock Valley, Russ and Helen Vande Vegte of Sioux Center and Doug and Wanda Vande Vegte of Alton, Iowa; and two sisters and their husbands, Loretta and Marv Vermeer of Sioux Center and Sharon and Milt Swier of Rock Valley.
She was preceded in death by her father.
