JOHANNAS ARIE (JOE) HOOGENDOORN
Funeral services will be held at the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley at 1:30 p. m. Friday, December 12 for Johannas Arie(Joe) Hoogendoorn, 59 of Rock Valley, who died Tuesday at the Rock Valley hospital after a three weeks' illness.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. J. Van Zweden and burial will be made in Valley View cemetery at Rock Valley.
Mr. Hoogendoorn was born January 12, 1910, in the Netherlands and came to the U. S. with his parents at the age of 5. He married Adriana Groeneweg December 19, 1934. at Hudson SD.
Survivors include the widow two daughters, Mrs. Marvin Tilberg of Alvord and Mrs. John E. Mantel of Rock Valley; four sons Gilvert of George, Joel of Jenison MI, Arvin of Rock Valley, and Marion of Hull; 16 grandchildren; his stepfather, Baas DeWitt of Roch Valley; six brothers Arie, Jim, John. Peter and Merritt, all of Rock Valleyand Gilbert of Hudsonville MI; a half brother, John, of Inwood three half sisters; Mrs. Peter Berg of Rock Rapids, Mrs. Wm. lwen and Mrs. Nick Van Beek. both of Rock Valley
