E. Faas, a farmer residing two and one-half miles east of Middleburg and who was taken to the insane hospital at Clarinda a short time ago, died last Saturday. The remains were shipped to Middleburg and the funeral services were held from the Dutch Reformed church, conducted by Kev. Mouw of Hospers.
The body was taken to Orange City for burial. • The family and friends have the heartfelt sympathy of all in their bereavement.
(Evert Faas was born 9 Dec 1871 and died Mar 18, 1899. Wife was Jacoba born Jan 1876 IA and he had two children Bessie born 1896 and Eva born 1898, from the 1900 census of his widowed wife and children )
