Former Sioux Center pastor dies in Michigan
Funeral services for the Rev. Harry L. Brower, 93, a former pastor in Sioux Center, were on Monday, March 15, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grandville, Michigan, where Pastor Brower last
lived. Pastor Brower served as a pastor in the Reformed Church for 41 years. His pastorates included Nordin Park in Detroit, Michigan; Calvary in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Ebenezer Reformed in Morrison, Illinois; First Reformed in Sioux Center; and Grace Reformed in Wyoming, Michigan.
He also served as an interim pastor at West Palm Beach Reformed and was on the Wyoming city council from 1977 to 1985.
Survivors are his wife, Jean; and children, Lesley and Paul Meyer of Bloomington, Minnesota, and G. and Glenda Brower of Lincoln, Nebraska; and grandchildren, Julie, Karl, Kami and
Damon.
Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
