Julius Ted Miller, longtime resident of Alton, died unexpectedly Sunday at his home of a heart attack. Funeral services were held Tuesday at-St. Mary's Catholic church in Alton and burial was made in the cemetery there.

Julius "Ted" Miller, 50, of Alton, Iowa, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 13, 1965. Mr, Miller was born March 13, 1915, at Alton, Iowa, to Chris Miller and Ann Baune On August 7, 1937, he was united in marriage to Johanna Aalbers.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 15 at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Alton. Father Walding was in charge of the services with burial under the direction of the Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen. Burial was in the St. Mary's Cemetery of Alton.
Pallbearers were Virgil Aalbers, Wesley Keister, Bernard Minten, Walter Pluim, James Steichen and Doris Vrieze.
Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Gaul of LeMars and Debra of Alton; one son, Gerald; two brothers, Laurence of Paullina and Clarence of Alton; and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Starkenburg of Alton, Mrs, Ted Steichen of Alton and Mrs. Joe Stoos of Yankton, S. Dak.
