Miss Hattie Aalders dau of John Aalders, a well known farmer, living south of town, died at her home Tuesday, May 29. at the age of 15 years.
Deceased had been ill for about six weeks and suffered from heart trouble.
She was a young lady of sweet disposition and bore her sickness with patience and fortitude. She leaves to mourn her departure her father, and two brothers, John and Andrew at home and Dr. Henry Aalders in California, four sisters, Mrs. De Vries of Baldwin, Wis, Miss Anna of California and Dena and Minnie at home. She was greatly loved in her home circle and l by the friends who knew her. but will be mostly
mlssed by the brothers and sisters with whom she came into daily contact.
The funeral was held at 12 o'clock from the house and at 2 o'clock from the Christian Reformed church of Orange City. Rev. R. L. Haan having charge of the services and burial was made in Nassau township cemetery. A large number of friends and relatives attended the funerai. Those from out of town were Rev. and Mrs. H. De Vries, from Baldwin, Wis.. Mr and Mrs. H. Hoffs and Mm. Albert. Hoffs, .Mr. and Mrs. John Fonkert, George Zwart, .Mr. and Mrs. Henry Van Rooyen. of Newkirk, Mrs. Marion Schultz of Sheldnn and Mr. aind Mr Peter Kuiper, of. Seney. On account of illness of Miss Anna Aaldcr, it was impossible for Dr. Henry Aalders or his sister to come*. The sympathy of their many friends is extended to the family in their hour of sorrow.
