Kort Victoria Passed Away At Sheldon Last Thursday

Mr. Kort Victoria, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Victoria of Hull, died at his home in Sheldon, Thursday, June the 13th, at the age of 64 years, 8 months and 7 days.

He was born in Hoogeveen, the Netherlands in 1882. At the age of nine years he came, with his parents, to America. He was united in marriage to Gertie Kooistra in 1907. To this union ten children were born. Three children preceded their father in death. He lived around Hull for 30 years, and then moved to Sheldon.

He is survived by his wife, seven children and nine grandchildren. Also surviving are: one brother, John, of Chicago; three sisters, Mrs. Andrew Eppinga and Mrs. Hilbert Oelen of Hull and Mrs. Edwin Reitsma of Sheldon. Funeral services were held Monday at Sheldon.

Mr. Andrew Eppinga is at Sheldon this week helping with the work at the home of his brother-in-law, Mr. Kort Victoria, who has been seriously ill since a bad heart attack a week ago.
