The little child of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Van Rooyen of near Newkirk, died last week and the funeral was held from the church at Newkirk, last Friday afternoon.
(Ancestry.com lists Jacob b. 1873 died 1953 Newkirk and wife Ida Vellinga 1879-1960 Newkirk.
Child was Walter 4 Dec 1898 died 4 Apr 1899 - children Katie 1901, Walter 1902-1990, Jeanette 1907 and William 1909.)
