William L. "Tony" Heuer.57, of rural Hawarden died suddenly at his home Sunday, Jan 28. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 31 at the Trinity Luteran Church in Hawarden with Rev. O.F. Pittack officiating. Burial services were held at the Grace Hill Cemetery in Hawarden.

Heuer was born on Feb 19, 1915 in Sioux County, near Hawarden. He married Elizabeth Serck on July 15, 1943 at Hawarden. He farmed all his life in the Hawarden area and also operated a trucking business on the side.

Survivors include hid wife, two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Janet) Bieser of Widom, Minn; Mrs. Raymond (Judy) McCoy of Sioux City; one brother Orville of Prescott Arizona; and two sisters Mrs. Harlan (Bernice) Bradley of Riverton, Wyo. and Mrs. Henry (Gladys) Gebauer of Akron.

Casketbearer for the funeral services were; Athrur, Ted, Wilbur, Clarence, Edwin and Harold Heuer.
