William E. Kratochvil,age 57, of rural Hawarden passed away at a Sioux City Hospital on September 18, 1973. Funeral services are pending.

Mr. Kratochvil was born April 7, 1916 in Lincoln County, South Dakota. He was united in Marriage to Irene Pluss on April 8, 1942 at Luverne, Minn. He farmed in the Hawarden asnd Alcesater, SD area all his life. Bill is survived by his wife; his mother Mrs. Will Kratochvil pf Alcester,SD. Five brothers; Leslie, Harry, Malcom of rural Hawarden; Charles of Alcester and Don of Brookings, SD; one sister Mrs. Allan (Mary) Reppe of rural Hawarden.
