Original obituary was in Dutch, Translated it is believed to state:
Mrs. Rev. D. Mouw Died of pneumonia today.
It was her 78th birthday just. Mrs. Mouw was born in Utrecht, Netherlands, in 1836 and came to Pella, Iowa, 60 years ago, in 1854 .- The same year she was in marriage associated with Mr.. A. M. van den Berge. They came to Sioux County in 1870 and and moved to Dakota in 1885. In the autumn in 1894 they came back here. Mr. Van der Berge died in 1896(1897). In 1900 joined in marriage with the Reverend. D, Mouw. From it first marriage children are living, Mrs.. W. van Steenbergen lives here.
The funeral will Friday held at half past one
In the First Reformed. Church, Reverend. Lubbers officiated,

(This was the third wife of Rev. Dries Mouw. She was Elizabeth Rysdam, Vanden Berge, Mouw. Her first marriage was with Adriannus Michiel Vanden Berge 1856 Marion Co. IA , they lived in South Dakota and Nassau Sioux county for some time. She came with her parents Apr 17, 1948 to Pella IA. She was 63 years of age in October 29, of 1900 when she married Rev. Dries Mouw. On the marriage record her parents were listed as Arie Rysdam (Rijsdam) and Gertrude VanManen. Children found on ancestry.com were Nellie 1856-1914, Willemina Mrs. W. VanSteenbergen 1859-1942, John 1862-, Arie 1865-1944, James 1870, Elizabeth 1874-1947. Adriannus Vanden Berge born 1 Jan 1833 Terneuzen, Neth died 4 May 1897 Sioux Center IA. Both are assumed buried in the Sioux Center Cemetery, however no headstone exists in Sioux county cemetery Index of headstones. )
