Funeral Services held for John Veninga
Mr. John Veninga died very unexpectedly and suddenly while sitting in a car with a salesman at Mission, South Daktoa Monday, Feb 26th. An Autopsy was made but as yet no report has been issued. Funeral services were held at Winner SD Friday March 1st. Interment was also made at Winner.
Mr. Veninga was born at Perkins IA Feb 25, 1916 His early years were spent in this vicinity and in the early 1950s he headed west settling in South Dakota area. Members of the Veninga family in this area were unaware of where he had settled for the past fourteen years, until word reached them last week of their brother’s death.
Survivors are four brothers: Richard, William and Louis all of the Hull area, and Tenas DeJong of Anaheim CA. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Veninga of Hull attended the funeral service.
