Otto Van't Hul, 89, of Rock Valley died Wednesday, January 23, 1991, at Valley Manor Nursing Home in Rock Valley.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at the First Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley with the Rev. C. Eric Fennema officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation was held at the Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley.

Mr. Van't Hul, the son of Bert and Lucy (De Vries) Van't Hul, was born March 28, 1901, in Perkins. He married Ida Hoekstra Jan. 26, 1926, in Rock Valley. The couple made their home in Grand Rapids, Mich., where he worked in a factory before returning to Rock Valley where they farmed. In 1943 they moved into Rock Valley where he worked for the Milwaukee Railroad until his retirement Oct. 9, 1964. The couple moved to Valley Manor July 27, 1981. Mrs. Van't Hul died Aug. 26, 1981.

Survivors include a son, Bernard O. Van't Hul of Sheldon; a daughter, Lyda Van't Hul of Rock Valley; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Herman, Gerben, John, Gerrit and Bert; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Van Maanen and a great-grandson.
