Van Veldhuizen Funeral Services Held Wednesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Teunis Van Veldhuizen, 58, who died Wednesday afternoon [July 4] after a brain operation, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Christian Reformed church. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery here.

Mrs. Alice Van Veldhuizen was born in Holland but was a longtime resident of this community.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Gerrit A. Van Maanen and Mrs. LeRoy Bolkema, both of Rock Valley and Mrs. John E. Lobes of Prinsburg, Minn.; two sons, Edwin and Ronald both of Rock Valley, three brothers and 10 grandchildren.

Mrs. T. Van Veldhuizen

Funeral services for Mrs. Teunis Van Veldhuizen, 58, were held Saturday in the Christian Reformed church. Burial was in the Valley View cemetery here. Mrs. Van Veldhuized died Wednesday following a brain operation in a Sioux Falls hospital. She had undergone a major stomach operation the Saturday before. Mrs. Alice Boote Van Veldhuizen was born in Holland but had lived here and at Hull for many years.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Gerrit A. Van Maanen and Mrs. Le Roy Bolkema of Rock Valley, and Mrs. John E. Lobes of Prinsburg, Minn.; two sons, Edwin and Ronald, both of Rock Valley; three brothers, William of New Jersey, John of Hull and Jack of Worthington, Minn.; also 10 grandchildren.
