MRS. VAN VELDHUIZEN

Rock Valley: Funeral services were held Wednesday for Mrs. Hendrika Van Veldhuizen, 85, at 12:30 at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Netherlands Reformed church with Rev. John Van Zweden officiating. Mrs. Van Veldhuizen died at her home on Sunday after a week's illness.

Hendrika Busser was born December 12, 1863 in the Netherlands. On November 28, 1896 she married A. B. Van Veldhuizen. To this union four children were born. They came to America about 37 years ago and lived in the Steen, Minnesota area for many years. About 14 years ago they moved to Rock Valley.

Mrs. Van Veldhuizen is survived by Mr. Van Veldhuizen and three children: Ed of Brownsdale, Minn.; Richard of San Francisco, Calif.; and Sophia, Mrs. A. Broekhuis, of Sunnyside, Wash. One child died in infancy.
