REINDERS, REIJNDERS, WANDERS, JANSEN

John Reinders, who resided three and a half miles south of Orange City, died Saturday night. Mr. Reinders had been a resident of Sioux county for fifteen years and was a man who commanded the respect of all who knew him. His death was caused from no particular malady, but having passed the allotted three score years and ten, he
peacefully passed away at the advanced age of seventy-three years.
He leaves a wife and family of grown up children to mourn his demise. The funeral services were held from the Christian Reformed church Monday
afternoon and, in the absence of Rev. Breen, were conducted by Rev, Kosten of Alto, Wis.—Orange City Herald
(From the marriage record in the Neth. Jan Reijnders b. 13 Mar 1825 Wageningen Geld. Neth. married 11 Apr 1862 Wageningen, to Geertruida Jansen. Jan was the son of Gysbert Reijnders and Evertje Wanders. They had seven sons, believed to be Gysbert 1863, Gerrit 1867, John 1870, Gerard 1873, Fred 1876, Edward 1877, and Ryer 1877.)
